OmniTask — Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies only to the OmniTask chrome extension published by Rohit Tiger and distributed via Chrome Web Store.

1. Data Collection

• Data collected: Google Account Email (Only if Pro/Sync is enabled).
• Data sent off device: Yes
• Data shared with third parties: No

2. Permissions

OmniTask requests the following permissions, each with a clear purpose:

• sidePanel: Allows the app to live persistently in your browser sidebar.
• storage: Saves your tasks, notes, and preferences locally on your device for instant offline access.
• contextMenus: Lets you highlight text on any website and right-click to send to Quick Capture.
• identity: Securely logs you into your Google Account if you upgrade to Cloud Sync.

3. Third-Party SDKs & Services

OmniTask uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication (Google)
• Google Cloud Firestore

The extension is distributed via the Chrome Web Store. Chrome Web Store's own practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Deletion

To request deletion of any data associated with your use of OmniTask, please contact us at rohittiger2004@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

5. Children's Privacy

OmniTask is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
